Cleaning ceramic wall tiles . |
Cleaning ceramic wall tiles doesn't need to be done as frequently as cleaning a tile floor, but it's a good idea to wipe them down once or twice a month using all-purpose cleaner, or, if you're in the bathroom, the same bathroom cleaning mousse that you use on the sinks and bath. Areas such as the shower surround and the sink backsplash which collect soap scum and spatters, may need more frequent attention, especially in a large household. Cleaning the grout between tiles especially floor tiles, is occasionally necessary. Mix together 30ml of vinegar with 3 litres of water and scrub the grout with a toothbrush or nylon scrubbing pad. Don't use steel wool, because it can scratch the finish.
